I need to get insurance for my engagement ring in the UK?
Hi, Im moving to the UK soon and will need portable insurance for my engagement ring – I’m having a hard time trying to find some companies on the net that do portable contents insurance. Please help, Thanks

There are two options:
Option 1:
In case you already bought your engagement ring:
If you already bought your engagement ring, all you need to do is to turn to any local UK insurance company and ask them to make an “ALL RISKS” insurance for the property that you have inside your apartment, including your jewelry. They will be happy to send you an agent to examine your goods and to give you a price offer for an All Risks insurance.
Option 2:
In case you intend to buy your engagement ring:
